Neshan 2024 Holds Rapid-Fire Pistol Competition

Doha, March 25 (QNA) - The Neshan Ooredoo Competition 2024 (Neshan 2024) held its 25-meter rapid-fire pistol men's competition at Lusail Multipurpose Hall under the auspices of HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani and with the participation of many Qatari team's shooters, amateur shooters as well as Ooredoo affiliates.
The competition included the qualifying round in which shooters fired 60 shots in two rounds, 30 shots in each round. The best 6 shooters qualified for the final round where they competed for the top three spots.
Abdullah Al Obaidli won first place with 14 points, Mohammad Abu Taima came second with 12 points, while third place went to Hassan Ali with 10 points.
Neshan 2024 will hold four competitions: air rifle, air pistol, shotgun, and bow and arrow, in addition to an amateur shooting competition and another competition for Ooredoo affiliates.
The Qatar Shooting & Archery Association (QSAA) has allocated notable financial prizes for Neshan 2024 amounting to QR 150,000 given to the winners of the first three places in each competition. (QNA)
